RECREATIONAL CLASSES

General Information

The basics:

We foster a love for dance starting early, with recreational classes offered starting with the age of two. Our certified instructors offer a social, educational, and healthy way to get moving while having fun. We develop dancers through instruction and performance over the course of a session, with a recital at the end of the season.

Here's how we determine your level:

Class and level determinations begin with appropriate age groupings. Once progressing beyond 9-10 years of age, we assess by ability, with evaluations from teachers on techniques and student’s grasping of the discipline.

Musical Theatre

Musical theatre dancing is less of a particular style, and more of a description of dancing that is rooted in the diverse history of Broadway musicals. Relying heavily on a knowledge of ballet, tap, and jazz, musical theater dancers are, first and foremost, actors and place a high focus on musical interpretation.

Testimonials

Take it from our dancers.

My daughter has been attending Dancers Dreams for 4 years and absolutely loves it! She takes competition hip hop and acrobatics classes. Her dance instructors have all been professional, talented, and fun. Her current dance teacher, Mrs. Danielle is wonderful! You can tell that she loves each and every single one of the kids and gets to know them all on a personal level. You can see her talent and passion for dance and teaching every single second that she is at the studio. Dancer Dreams and Mrs. Danielle have given my daughter what will be a life long love for dance. We look forward to many more recitals, competitions, and fun-filled years with Dancers Dreams, our dance family.
• The Smith Family
Dancers Dreams Dance Studio has become a second home for our family. My oldest daughter started dancing there in 2013 when she was just in kindergarten and has been a part of their competition team since the 2016-2017 season. She has not only gained so much experience at this studio due to the amazing teachers and classes she has taken along the way, but has also made so many friends that have become part of our extended family. Because of the great experience my oldest daughter had, it was an easy decision for me to also begin taking classes at the studio as well. During the 2017-2018 season, I decided to take the adult hip hop class at the studio. Even though I hadn’t danced for over 20 years, I felt comfortable in the class right way because of how the class was taught and the pace at which we learned the dances. I went on to perform for the first time on stage at the yearly recital and have been in the class ever since. During the summer of 2019, our youngest daughter, now 3 1/2, showed interest in dance as well so we signed her up for a summer class at the studio. She enjoyed that class so much and really improved on some of her basic skills that we signed her up for the Movement class in the Fall of 2019 as well. The studio offers a very family friendly environment and pricing of classes are very reasonable. Dancers Dreams has always felt like a home for us and offers us exactly what we need.
